Volunteer Requirements

To ensure the best experience for both our volunteers and the communities we serve, we ask that all applicants meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum age of 18 years (16+ with parental consent for some roles)
  • Commitment to our values of compassion, integrity, and service
  • Willingness to undergo basic training and orientation
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 4 hours per week for at least 3 months
  • Medical volunteers must provide proof of qualifications and licenses
  • Background checks required for positions working with vulnerable populations
  • Fluency in English or local languages (depending on assignment location)
